TripBNG

Supplier inventory, quotes, credit limits and settlement reports in one account for travel agents.

What it does

TripBNG gives a travel agency one place to search supplier inventory, turn a search into a shareable quote, confirm the booking against a wallet or credit limit, and reconcile commission at the end of the month. Supplier integrations sit behind a single internal interface, so the flow an agent learns does not change when a source is added.

Who it is for

Travel agencies and their counter staff, from a single office to a group with several branches.

Key capabilities

4 capabilities are documented for TripBNG. More are added as they are confirmed.

  1. One search across supplier inventory

Flights, hotels and packages from integrated suppliers are searched together and returned in one result set, rather than through a separate login for each source.

  2. Quote to booking

A search result becomes a quote the agent can share with the traveller, and the accepted quote becomes the booking without anything being re-keyed.

  3. Wallet and credit limits

Each agency has a balance and a credit limit, with authorisation rules that decide when a counter user can confirm a booking on the agency's money.

  4. Commission and settlement reports

Commission is calculated per booking and reported per agency and per period, so month-end reconciliation is a download rather than a spreadsheet exercise.

Why TripBNG was built

From the case study of the build, which is where the full account lives.

The problem it solves

A travel agent selling flights, hotels and packages works across several supplier portals, each with its own login, pricing rules and booking flow. Quotes are assembled by hand in a spreadsheet or a chat message, then re-keyed into whichever portal holds the inventory. Commission is tracked in a second spreadsheet and reconciled at month end, which is when errors surface. Agencies with more than one counter staff member also need credit limits, because a booking made on the agency's money has to be authorised before it is confirmed.

What the build covered

  1. Agent onboarding
  2. Supplier inventory integrations
  3. A quote-to-booking flow, so a search becomes a quote and the accepted quote becomes the booking
  4. Wallet and credit limits per agency
  5. Commission and settlement reports
