Tankar Solutions

Dedicated development teams

Tankar assembles a team that joins your product for a period rather than delivering a fixed scope. You get named people, a set capacity per week, and the same working hours, stand-ups and boards your own engineers use. Tankar handles employment, equipment, cover and payroll; you set the priorities. This is the model most US and UK buyers ask for when the work is continuous and the scope changes every sprint.

Your team, employed by Tankar

The people are named, they work only on your product, and they use your board and your release process. Tankar carries the employment, equipment, leave cover and payroll, which is the part that makes hiring across borders slow.

You interview, you decide

A written role brief comes first, then anonymised profiles matched against it, then interviews with your own engineers. A team you did not choose is a team you will not trust with a release.

Continuity is a term, not a hope

Leave cover is planned, departures trigger a documented handover, and the contract says what happens if a person has to be replaced.

Typical engagements

What this service usually produces, as deliverables rather than adjectives.

  • A pod of engineers, a designer and a QA engineer joining an existing product team
  • Two or three engineers extending an in-house team through a period of high demand
  • A full delivery pod with a named project manager owning day-to-day coordination
  • A specialist added to a team, such as a mobile, data or DevOps engineer
  • A maintenance and improvement team for a product whose original team has moved on

How it runs

The stages this service goes through, and what you see at each one.

  1. Brief

The skills, the seniority, the working hours and the tools you use. A written role brief that both sides agree before any profiles are shared.

  2. Shortlist

Anonymised profiles matched to the brief, then interviews with your own team. You choose; nobody is assigned to you.

  3. Onboarding

NDA and contract, access to your repositories and tools, and a first week with an agreed goal so progress is visible immediately.

  4. Delivery

The team works in your process. Daily stand-up, your board, your review and release rules, and a weekly summary from the Tankar side.

  5. Review

A monthly check on capacity, output and fit, with the option to change the team shape at the next period.

  6. Continuity

Documented handover if someone leaves, cover during leave, and a replacement process rather than a gap.

Team shape
You choose the shape. A common one is two to four engineers, a QA engineer and a part-time designer, with a Tankar project manager if you do not want to coordinate directly.

Stack for this service

The technologies this work is usually built on, and why each one is used here.

TechnologyWhy we use it here
PythonFor data, machine learning and back-end teams where the existing codebase is Python.
.NETFor teams extending an existing enterprise application rather than starting a new one.
Flutter and React NativeFor mobile capacity added to a product team that already owns the API.
Your toolsThe team works in your repository, your board and your CI. Tankar does not impose a process on a product that already has one.
